July 10, 2007 - New AMPSLink Security Enhancement

July 10, 2007 - CSD will be introducing a new security enhancement to AMPSLink in our next system migration. This enhancement will prompt the operator (LO) to answer two security questions.

Going forward, these security questions may be answered by an operator should they forget their password. Provided the operator can supply the correct responses to these questions, a new password will be emailed to them at the email address stored in their AMPSLink setup.

Please note that this feature requires an email address be stored in the operator's AMPSLink setup. For any operator who does not have an email address stored in their setup, they will be prompted for their email address in addition to the security questions.
